URETEROCELE

Ureterocele is a cystic enlargement of the ureter at its junction with the urinary bladder.

Long-standing effect include: hydroureteronephrosis, pyelonephritis and stones formation.

Ectopic ureterocele is associated with ureteral duplication.

Ectopic ureteroceles originate from a malpositioned ureteral orifice and may extend to the bladder neck.
