Constant flow ResectoscopeR.A.S. HEMAT, MB;BCh, FRCSI, Dip. Urol. UCL
McCarthy in 1932 introduced his direct-vision resectoscope. The earliest form of diathermy loop resectoscope was described in 1933 by McCarthy and Stern. In 1975 Iglesias introduced the constant flow resectoscope.
